Casting Spells
Cost: Spells cost mana equal to the spell's level.
Roll: 3d6 ≤ INT or WIS (depending on the spell)
Very low and very high rolls have special effects—some fortunate, some catastrophic. Your GM will tell you what happens.
Some spells must hit: Magic requiring hitting a target needs an additional DEX roll.
Renewing Spells
Continuing spells require mana payment each turn during Phase 2 of combat. Unrenewed spells end immediately.
